Max is like most 3 year old little boys. He loves dinosaurs. being outside and playing in the dirt.  In June of 2017 our world was turned upside down when max was involved in a lawnmower accident and suffered a below the knee amputation.  It was a very difficult time and we would have not made it through without the help of the amazing team at Performance Prosthetics.   For the first few months we were overwhelmed with all the doctor’s appointments that Max had to go to. Anytime we were at Performance Prosthetics it never felt like another doctor appointment for Max. He was so comfortable with the staff and looked forward to going and taking a new dinosaur to show them. The staff was so helpful and friendly with every part of Max’s journey.  They are part of our family and will continue to be a part of Max’s journey. I am glad to say he is now 4 years old and is as energetic as ever. He has not slowed down and has not missed out on any opportunities because of his injury.
